Join us for a connective, grounding, and educational morning…
There are few things more enjoyable than gathering and cooking as a group. Many hands make light work, and there’s something deeply human about creating food together and then sitting down to share it.
Fresh pasta is beautifully simple—eggs, flour, and a bit of elbow grease. But, if you’ve never made it before, it can feel a little intimidating. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll walk through the whole process together: mixing and kneading our dough, rolling it thin and elegant with both a hand crank and kitchen-aid attachment, and cooking it up with Marcella Hazan’s cult classic tomato butter sauce. I promise you’ll leave confident that you can recreate this at home.
I love making fresh pasta—both because its so delicious and special (and requires a little extra love that really nourishes) but also because it gets me out of my head and into my body. This workshop will place special emphasis on presence, grace, and ease in the kitchen. I’ll show you that there’s no way to mess this up—we’ll make mistakes, fix them, and feel good while doing it.
After we’re done creating our pasta, we’ll whip up a refreshing salad and then sit down to a lovely communal meal together.
